This Privacy Policy describes how SoloGym (“the app”) handles information on your device.
SoloGym is a general fitness and workout-planning app published by
Deepak Kumar Dangi.
SoloGym does not create an account on SoloGym servers. Workout and profile data are stored
on your device. We do not sell your data.
You may optionally enter or generate information such as:
Profile details you choose to provide (for example, gender, height, and weight)
Workout history and session details you log in the app
Custom exercises you create (including optional photo or video you select from your library)
Reminder preferences if you enable workout notifications
Meal-idea preferences you set in the app
This information stays on your device using on-device storage. It is used to personalize
workout plans and track sessions you log. It is not used to calculate medical metrics,
diagnose conditions, or prescribe treatment.
How We Use Information
On-device information is used only to operate SoloGym features for you, including to:
Build and display workout plans based on your selected goal
Show today’s workout, history, and progress within the app
Support custom exercises and optional reminders
Remember preferences you set in Settings
We do not use your workout or profile data for advertising profiles, and we do not operate
a SoloGym cloud account system for that data.
App and Device Information
SoloGym runs on your device and stores content and preferences locally
(including local database and on-device key-value storage).
Permissions and access:
Photo library: only if you choose a photo or video for a custom exercise.
Notifications: only if you turn on a workout reminder.
Camera: not required. SoloGym does not require camera access for core features.
HealthKit / health records: SoloGym does not use HealthKit or other health-record permissions.
Subscriptions and Payments
SoloGym Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks longer Premium training programs.
Free features remain available without a subscription.
Payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
Subscription status for SoloGym Premium is processed by Apple and RevenueCat.
Apple App Store / In-App Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple In-App Purchase and your Apple ID.
Apple’s privacy practices apply to payment processing and App Store account information.
SoloGym does not store your Apple payment credentials.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
You can also use Restore Purchases in SoloGym Settings if you reinstall the app or change devices
while signed into the same Apple ID.
RevenueCat
SoloGym uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and related purchase status
for SoloGym Premium. RevenueCat helps determine whether your Apple subscription is active
so the app can unlock Premium programs.
RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details from SoloGym.
Card and billing details remain with Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Third-Party Services
Third parties involved in SoloGym as described in this policy:
Apple: App distribution, In-App Purchases, and subscription management.
RevenueCat: subscription entitlement / purchase status for Premium.
Exercise video host: demonstration videos may load from a public media host when you play them. That host may see a network request for the video file. The app does not send your profile or workout history with those requests.
SoloGym does not use a separate product analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or advertising SDK
as part of the current app described by this policy.
Data Retention
Local workout and profile data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Subscription records related to Apple purchases are retained by Apple (and entitlement status
via RevenueCat) according to those providers’ practices and your Apple account.
Data Security
Because workout and profile information are stored on your device, protecting access to your
device (passcode, biometrics, and OS updates) is an important part of keeping that information secure.
No method of storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
User Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information.
For SoloGym’s on-device workout and profile data, you can review and remove that information
directly in the app (including Reset all data in Settings) or by uninstalling SoloGym.
For questions about this policy, or about subscription-related information handled by Apple
or RevenueCat, contact us using the details below.
Data Deletion
You can delete locally stored SoloGym data by:
Using Reset all data in SoloGym Settings, or
Uninstalling the app from your device
Uninstalling removes the app and its local storage from that device.
Apple subscription status is separate and is managed through your Apple ID.
Children’s Privacy
SoloGym is not directed at children. Do not enter information about children in the app.
If you believe a child has provided information in SoloGym on your device, delete the local data
or uninstall the app, and contact us if you need assistance.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the
effective date above and post the updated policy on
https://sologym.fitness/
and/or within the app. Continued use of SoloGym after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
